Lookout Mountain Cam Catches Cow Elk Giving Birth
News Link
This video is over 3 hours long. Elk and deer give birth every spring somewhere between about May 15 and June 15 depending on their sense of food supply. While mountain biking yesterday I went by a deer laying next to the trail that looked like it was getting ready to give birth, so it look like this year the time for fawns is now. About 10 years ago, I came upon a fawn that had just been born on the trail.
