It's true that mountain lions live amongst us in the foothills. The 3 juveniles will soon be setting out on their own to establish their own territories. Mom has trained them how to hunt for deer and other prey for the past year. Occasionally, a juvenile doesn't get it right and attacks dogs and livestock, and very rarely people.
