Lightning Deaths in US at Record Low Number for 2017

Education efforts, such as this one, credited for low number. 2 of the 17 deaths were in Colorado. The average number of lightning strike deaths in Colorado is 3 and the average number injured is 13. Only 2 reports of injuries in 2017.
