Doctor Develops Simple Solution for Flesh-Eating Disease

News Link
Flesh-eating bacteria occur naturally in soils, and when incorporated into a deep scrape from a bicycle crash or other type of fall can quickly ravage a person's body.  This is a rare occurrence in Colorado, perhaps a dozen cases per decade. The technique uses irrigation with a chlorine solution which is more effective than the traditional approach of surgically removing infected flesh. Sounds much better than amputation.
