It was tough getting back home yesterday from Santa Fe. Thick smoke was in the air when we crossed the border at Antonito, gave me a headache and cough. The Spring wildfire jumped Hwy 160 west of Fort Garland - road closed, now up to 42,000 acres. The Weston Pass Fire closed 285 between Hwy 24 junction and Fairplay.
